Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of HeyPro (heypro.co.uk), a professional services marketplace operated in the United Kingdom. By accessing or using our platform you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts under UK law to use HeyPro. By using the platform you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Platform Role

HeyPro acts as a marketplace connecting clients with independent professionals. We are not a party to contracts formed between clients and professionals. We do not employ, supervise, or control any listed professional. Any contract for services is solely between the client and the professional.

4. Accounts and Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the platform to post false, misleading, or fraudulent content; harass, threaten, or harm other users; violate any applicable UK or EU law; scrape, copy, or redistribute platform data without permission; or attempt to circumvent any security or access controls.

6. Professional Listings and Vetting

We make reasonable efforts to verify the identity and credentials of professionals listed on the platform. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy of any information provided by professionals, nor do we guarantee the quality of their work. Clients should carry out their own due diligence before engaging any professional.

7. Payments and Fees

Posting a brief and receiving quotes is free for clients. Professionals may be charged a service fee. Full details of any applicable fees are provided at the time of registration or transaction. All prices are in GBP.

8. Intellectual Property

Any creative work commissioned through the platform is subject to the agreement between the client and the professional. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ownership of commissioned work transfers to the client upon receipt of full payment. HeyPro retains ownership of all platform content, branding, and software.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HeyPro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of profit or data. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees paid by you to HeyPro in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email where reasonably practicable.
